Research and Cooperation

Our research activities at HIAMS are geared towards achieving the millennium development goals on reducing maternal and child mortality in Cameroon and Africa. At HIAEBS, research is centred on e-commerce, rural architectural and software development, sustainable food production and preservation and eco-technology.

Our students are introduced to research very early in their studies through enquiry based learning and encouraged to engage in evidence based practice through portfolio writing. They are also drilled on research techniques regularly during their studies including the use of Microsoft Excel and SPSS data analysis software in research by our dedicated team of researchers.

At the end, each student is expected to publicly defend a research proposal and an independent research project work before graduating with either a diploma or degree.

We are in collaboration with researchers from University of Gothenburg Sweden and University of East Anglia UK.
